William Bordovsky was born December 6, 1935 at Malmo to Dominek and Agnes (Vocka) Bordovsky. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1957 and, upon completion of his tour of active duty, he served in the United States Army Reserve and earned an Honorable Discharge in 1962. William returned home and spent his life working for local contractors as a heavy equipment operator. Even when he was not at his usual vocation, William always stayed busy. Besides completely renovating several houses, he spent many hours doing mechanical work. If he was not refurbishing a vintage automobile, William was reconfiguring engines and other car parts to enhance their performance and put them to nonconventional uses. Despite his industrious nature, William always found time to relax and to listen to his favorite Polka music. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sharon, son William, and 4 brothers. He is survived by his children Robert Bordovsky and Judy Rodriguez, both of Wahoo; grandchildren Sara Rodriguez of Omaha and Justin Schmidt of Fremont; siblings Joseph (Geraldine) Bordovsky of Valparaiso, Mary (Don) Andrews of Omaha and Francis Cejka of Wahoo. Memorials may be made to the family for a later designation. Military Funeral Honors will be conducted at the graveside by Wahoo VFW Post #4501 and Wahoo American Legion Post #82.
