Ted, Teddy Paulson

Ted Paulson was born April 20, 1941 to Theodore L (Pat) and Susanna B (Bellecourt) Paulson. Our loved one Theodore C Paulson (Ted, Teddy) went home on July 17th, 2023. His favorite activity was challenging anyone to match wits. To enter his circle was a ‘rite of passage’, and once inducted you were a member for life.

Talents were many, he was proud of his Nebraska Master Electrical Contractor license and owned TLC Electric and only officially retired – NEVER! Always helping when needed by family and friends.

One of his many aspects of his life was Pacesetter Windows and Siding of Omaha, where he earned many top awards. Racehorse transport – for Hull and Smith from Ashland, from this, the family has many fond stories of some very spirited horses and owners. Many more talents were welding (certified MN trade college), speed reading, and he had a passion for hunting and fishing.

At the young age of 17 he lost his 3 fingers on his right hand during an accident with a corn picking machine. But his grip with the right hand was so very powerful! He rescued a couple of raccoons which provided several antics in mom’s kitchen. Ted had an appetite for steaks, one time a bull backed him up against a water tank, and Teddy hit the bull with a 2x4 to make it back off, then enjoyed steaks that night...

Passions include hunting and fishing…most of all a good match of wits, politics and sharing of opinions.

He was the 2nd oldest child of 12. Brother and sisters: Patricia Robison of Omaha, TED, Ramona Bordwell of Arizona, Ray (Glenda) Paulson of Lincoln, David Paulson of North Dakota, Vera Miller of Omaha, RoseMary Collins (Deceased), Lilly (Jim) Pinneo of Arizona, Keith (Tina) Paulson of Bellevue, Karen (Mick) of Kansas City, Missouri, Bill Paulson of Minnesota, and Penny (Rick) Kagigebi of Minnesota.

Ted had 3 children, Oldest, Patrick (Karen)Paulson of Lincoln, MeLinda (Kerry) Myles of Kansas, and John (Connie) Paulson of Oklahoma.

Many Grandchildren and Many Many nieces and nephews.

Ted as preceded in death by parents Theodore and Anna Paulson, sister RoseMary (Rosie) and wife Karen Paulson.

Celebration of Life will be held at Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home.
