Robert W. "Robe" Eliason was born September 25, 1934 in Wahoo, Nebraska to Emin Theodore Eliason Sr. and Esther (Swanson) Eliason. Robe attended school through the eighth grade in Swedeburg and graduated from Wahoo High School where he played football and league baseball. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan College and Kennedy College before enlisting in the United States Army. He married Lois Barry and was blessed with two children. On November 25, 1992, Robe married Donna Johnson Pearson. Together, they enjoyed wintering in Mission, Texas for the past 20 years, and just celebrated their Silver Wedding Anniversary. When not soaking in the warmth of Texas winters, Robe and Donna enjoyed their home in Woodcliff. Robe worked for the Eliason and Knuth drywall business for many years, and later operated Robe's Wallpaper. He was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wahoo. He is survived by his wife Donna Eliason of Fremont; daughter and son-in-law Robyn and Ken Meyers of Omaha; son Lon Eliason of North Bend; siblings Winniefred Keleher of Lincoln, Paul LeRoy Eliason of Lincoln, Betty Knuth of Lincoln; nieces and nephews Wayne Eliason, John Eliason, Bill Eliason, Marilee Hagerthy, Rich Eliason, Susie Knuth, Steve Knuth, Sandie Knuth, Scott Knuth; special friends Bob and Carole Graves of Weston, Val Bohaty of Wahoo, Sandy Peters of Wahoo, and Phil Vandevoorde of Wahoo. Robe was preceded in death by his parents Emin Sr. and Esther; one infant brother; brothers Nels, Emin Theodore, Emin T. Jr., and Donald; and niece Margie Keller.
