Richard J. Copperstone

Richard J. Copperstone was born September 27, 1946 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Audry and Lucille (Thomsen) Copperstone. Rick graduated from Wahoo High School in 1964. He attended Kennedy College and later served in Vietnam with the United States Army. He lived in Colorado for several years and moved to Waverly, Nebraska in 2004 where he worked for Lenco, Inc. His avocations were many, but he mostly enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle with good friends. Rick's "think of others first" nature endeared him to his expanded family and many friends. He will truly be missed, but always thought of and loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Audry Copperstone. Rick is survived by his mother, Lucille Copperstone, brother and sister-in-law Gary and Sandra Copperstone, nieces and nephews and their children, uncles, aunts and cousins. Private services will be held. Rick's military service will be observed with Military Funeral Honors at the graveside. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Shane Drews, Janeen Johnson, Billy Hornug, Tom Lenz, Bill Meyers and David Bowling.
