Raymond A. Rousseau

Raymond A. Rousseau, age 81 of Ceresco, died Tuesday, March 18th 2014. He was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Joseph and Lorette Rousseau on June 26th, 1932. Ray obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradford-Durfee Textile School in New Bedford. He earned his Master of Engineering Management degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Ray then worked for Commonwealth Electric in Engineering Management and retired in 1991. Raymond is survived by his wife Susan and his three sons and their wives: David (Cherie) Rousseau of Somonauk, IL; Marc (Bonnie) Rousseau of New Bedford; and, Peter (Beth) Rousseau of Sandwich, IL. He also leaves sisters in-law Cheryl (Paul) Hill of Wahoo, NE and Lori (Rob) French of Ceresco, NE, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at the Sunrise Cemetery, in Wahoo, NE at 1pm on Saturday, March 22nd with Bill Rollins of Elkhorn, IA officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Legacy Institute, P.O. Box 575, Monrovia, CA 91016, or to a charity of your choice. Raymond's thoughtful, confident and optimistic influence will be missed by all that knew him.
