Paula L. Bleeker

Paula L. Bleeker, age 60 of Wahoo, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 in Kearney, Nebraska. She was born April 17, 1952 in Wahoo to William and Adele (Banghart) Jackson. Paula graduated from Wahoo High School and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She married Rex Bleeker in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 24, 1976. Paula taught Special Education classes at Macy and Lincoln, Nebraska and Perry, Michigan. She later worked as a Para-professional with Kindergarten children at Wahoo Public Schools and also volunteered at the school helping students with reading and crafts. Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Rex, and brother-in-law Roy Bleeker. She is survived by her daughter Kathryn Haynie and granddaughters Savanna, Jessie, and Cheyenne, of Cozad, NE; parents Bill and Adele Jackson of Wahoo; sisters Diane Tillman and Linda (Doug) Bordovsky of Wahoo; brother-in-law Ray (JoAnn) Bleeker; sister-in-law Myrna Bleeker; nieces and nephews Mikayla (Seth) Smart, Molly Tillman, Chris Bordovsky, Mikki (Brent) Lund, Mackenzie Tillman, Paul Bordovsky, Michelle (Clint) Bergan, Amanda (John) Pepersen, Willy Rein Bleeker, Missy (Bryan) Leaming, and Chris Bleeker; 9 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews.
