Noel Edward Bennett

Noel Edward Bennett, 85 of Wahoo, NE passed away February 11th, 2025 at South Haven Nursing home in Wahoo NE. He was born October 26, 1939 in Wayne, NE to Earl and Marjorie (Austin) Bennett. He was baptized at the First Church of Christ in Wayne. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1957. He was united in marriage to Alice Fuoss on February 5th, 1961 and they had two sons, Gregg and Rod. He remarried Karen Allen on November 22nd, 1995.

Noel spent much of his life farming west of Wayne, NE. He had a great love for thoroughbreds and had many race horses over the years. He enjoyed going to horse and cattle sales and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Noel is survived by his sons, Gregg Bennett, Rod (Tammy) Bennett; grandchildren, Heather Bennett, Jennifer Bennett & Brooke Bennett, Travis (Megan) Bennett, Kayla (Dylan) McGill and Zane Bennett; Great Grandchildren, Brodi Christensen & Khloe Fuehrer, Madison, Miley & Maggie McGill, and Gemma Bennett. Brother, Gaylin (Arlene) Bennett; Sister-in-Law Fauneil Bennett. Nieces Jolene Bennett, Tina (Kevin) Borgelt & Teresa (Nick Strawn) Bennett.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Marjorie Bennett; wife, Karen Bennett & brother, Evan Bennett .

Private family graveside service will be at a later time
