Milton E. Hageman

Milton E. Hageman, age 81 of Ceresco, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his home. He was born July 11, 1931 at Ithaca, NE to Edward and Nina (Nielsen) Hageman. On April 28, 1962, he married Donna Halac in Omaha. Milton served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. When he returned home Milton farmed near Ceresco, raised hogs and cattle, and did custom hay baling. Milt had also worked as a welder for a metal stool manufacturer and continued to share his welding skills by building trailers and making repairs for neighbors. Milton is survived by his daughter Laverne Hageman of Ceresco; son and daughter-in-law Ward and Kathy Hageman of Ceresco; grandchildren Shelby, Alex and Taylor of Ceresco; brothers and sisters-in-law Lyle and Barb Hageman of Phoenix, AZ and Rueben and Polly Hageman of Young, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Hageman; parents Edward and Nina Hageman; and brother Harold Hageman. Ceresco American Legion Post #244 will conduct Military Funeral Honors at the graveside. Memorials may be made to the family for a later designation. Casket Bearers will be Mike Hass, Doug Hass, Paul Hass, Bob Petska, Tom Sherman, and Brad Nichols.
