Margaret A Bement

Margaret Ann Modeen Bement, age 69 of Wahoo, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Holmes Lake Manor Care Center in Lincoln. She was born September 4, 1944 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Marvin Oliver Modeen and Clara Jean Shriver. Her siblings are Marvin Oliver Modeen, Jr and Nels Hale Modeen. Margaret graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School, Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1962. She and her beloved husband Victor Martin Bement were married October 10, 1964 in Eau Claire and remained with her parents while her husband Vic was serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. They had three loving children : Jayne Marie Triplett, Amy Lynn (Christopher) Jones and Victor Martin Bement, Jr. Additional family members include 9 grandchildren: Brianna, Jordan, Joel, Gina, Mikahla, Dacoata, Kadaysha, Mason and Karys; four great grandchildren: Lexi, Ryan, Alex and Victor. She had many nieces, nephews and in-laws that she also loved dearly. Margaret was known as Maggie by her friends and family and was loved and respected by all who knew her. She was a good wife, a loving mother and loyal friend. She will surely be missed by all. Maggie was a Catholic, firm in her religious faith and is now with all those friends and family who have preceded her in death. After the passing of her husband in 2005, Maggie remained living in Wahoo, Nebraska with her daughter Jayne until her death. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
