Lucille B. Jacobsen

Lucille B. Jacobsen, age 85 of Wahoo, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. She was born April 22, 1927 at North Platte, Nebraska to Jabie and Cora (O'Connor) Bowman. She graduated from North Platte High School in 1944. On September 5, 1945, Lucy married Albert L. Jacobsen in Oberlin, Kansas. She worked as a church secretary and also as a secretary for the Girl Scouts of America in Hastings, Nebraska. Lucille was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wahoo where she was active in the Presbyterian Women's Bible Study. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Robert Jacobsen, and sister Pat Porter. Lucy is survived by her children Patti Branting of Belgrade, MT, Cindy (Mike) Dunn of Wahoo, Connie Jacobsen of Wahoo, Christy Jacobsen of Wahoo, and Dave (Barbara) Jacobsen of Rogersville, MO; daughter-in-law Kathy Jacobsen of North Platte; grandchildren Stephanie Jacobsen of Springfield, MO, Tom (Jody) Branting of Helena, MT, Christopher Branting of Bozeman, MT, Richard Dunn currently serving in Afghanistan, and Daniel Dunn of Wahoo; great-grandson Tristen Branting of Helena, MT; and many nieces and nephews.
