Linda Johnson

August 27, 1959 — August 22, 2024

Linda Johnson

Linda Johnson died May 28, 2013 at the age of 53. She was born August 27, 1959. She was a little blondie until her hair turned a beautiful Auburn Red and was always known for her long red hair. Linda was in the Girl Scouts, twirled a flag in both the VFW Band and the Admiral’s Drum and Bugle Corp. She was active in high school activities and graduated from Northeast High School in Lincoln in 1977. While in high school, Linda made many close friends with whom she stayed in contact throughout her life.

Linda worked hard getting through Nursing School to earn her degree as a Registered Nurse. She always worked at care centers and truly loved so many of the residents over the many years – mostly working the night shift. She worked long hours and was devoted to her job as she was so compassionate and caring.

She had a thirst for knowledge and worked very hard in her schooling as she was always taking classes or just studying on her own. Linda loved to socialize at events such as weddings, birthdays, and other get togethers.

Much like her Grama Bernice Wiese, Linda was always “put together” with the right clothing and accessories going just “how they should be” or how she wanted it. She loved her nieces and nephew but her desire to be a part of their lives was cut short as her health declined. She was truly happy when she met Bob and loved making plans for growing old together.

She is missed dearly by her family.
