Leanne Decoste

LeAnne Patzloff DeCoste was born on June 23, 1946 in Fremont, Nebraska to Ernest H. (Patz) Jr. and Betty V. (Davis) Patzloff. She graduated from Wahoo High School in 1964, and later attended Cosmetology School in Lincoln. She returned to Wahoo where she owned and operated LeAnne's Beauty Salon for over 20 years. LeAnne was elected the first female President of the Wahoo Chamber of Commerce and was the 1970 Wahoo Centennial Queen. Later on, she worked for Region V Services for over 18 years. In 1972, she married Harold DeCoste in Wahoo. LeAnne was a member of the First Congregational Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Harold of Wahoo; son Kirk DeCoste of South Burlington, VT; daughter Kate DeCoste of Wahoo; step-sons David DeCoste of Bellingham, MA, and Scott DeCoste of Chesapeake, VA; brother-in-law Michael (Dale) DeCoste of Milford, MA; aunts Cheryl "Billie" Kliment of David City, NE, Peg Erickson of Wahoo; god-daughters Malinda DuBois and Erica Weatherwax, both of Lincoln; special cousins Sue, Dave, Samuel and Allison DuBois of Wahoo; many cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
