Lawrence Lindquist

Lawrence Lindquist, age 92 of Wahoo, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Wahoo. He was born August 30, 1922 in Swedeburg. He was the last of eleven children born to Christian and Alice (Anderson) Lindquist. He attended school in Swedeburg and, later, served in the United States Navy. Lawrence married Colleen Mendenhall in Wahoo on November 18, 1956. He was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed fishing and traveling. Lawrence was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife Colleen of Wahoo; son Dan of Lincoln; brothers-in-law Stanley Dokulil of Wahoo, and Terry (Norma) Mendenhall of Pittsburg, KS; many nieces and nephews. A private service will be held. Interment will be at Sunrise North Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
