Karen M Deboer

Karen M. DeBoer, age 40 of Wahoo, died Saturday, January 18, 2025 in Omaha. She was born October 5, 1984, in Lincoln where she grew up and graduated from high school. As an adult, Karen enjoyed dancing and being a mom. Spending time with her family with whom she liked to play card games, especially Pitch, brought her great pleasure. She made many friends and enjoyed her time as owner of Karen’s Spirits and Smokes in Wahoo.

She is survived by her husband Clay Snelling of Wahoo; daughter Jessica Snelling (Luke Polacek) of Wahoo; son Joshua Snelling of Wahoo; sister Jenny DeBoer of Lincoln; brother Josh (Gena) DeBoer of Lincoln; nieces and nephews Taylor (Tyler) Blanchard, Noah DeBoer, Jacob DeBoer, Caleb DeBoer, Corbin (Katie) DeBoer, Alyssa DeBoer, Allison Scribner, Madison Scribner, Natalie Scribner, Brandon Scribner, Haley Mickle; several aunts and uncles.

Karen was preceded in death by her grandparents; mother Anne (Sweem) DeBoer; aunt Mary and uncle Terry.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church. Casual attire is encouraged. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to offset Karen's medical expenses.
