John Joe Mach

Johnny "John" Joe Mach, 1955-2019, passed away suddenly at his home in Munster, IN at the age of 63. John was born to Eugene and Lela Mach at Saunders County Hospital. He spent most of his childhood in the Wahoo area until his family moved to Chicago. John enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1973 and served with the 2nd Marine Corps Division until his honorable discharge in 1976. John stayed in the Chicago area and met his wife, Jan (Murakowski) Mach. They were together for over 40 years. John was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Anna Parmer of Valparaiso; Joe and Leona Mach of Wahoo; mother Lela Mach of Chicago. John is survived by his wife Jan Mach of Munster IN; father Eugene Mach of Wahoo; brothers Tom Mach Sr. of Junction City KY and Ron Mach Sr. of Wahoo. A celebration of John's life and Military Funeral Honors will be held Saturday May 4, 2019 at 12 Noon at the Valparaiso Cemetery. God Bless and Semper Fi.
