Jerry A Swahn

Jerry A. Swahn, age 52 of Colon, died Friday, September 16, 2022. He was born in Omaha October 12, 1969 to Curtis D. and Gloria (McArtor) Swahn. Jerry graduated from Wahoo High School in 1987. He then had a career in construction working at Ultimate Thermal with his dad, his brother and multiple family members, most recently including his sons Brandon and Curtis. He is remembered for being big hearted with a willingness to always help others. He had a passion for motorcycles and for spending time with his family.

He is survived by his spouse Julie; children Josh (Crystal), Zack (Amanda), Jeremy, Brandon, Curtis, Jerett, Jordyn; step-children Jalie and Jolie; mother Gloria; brother Curtis “Corky” (Tracey); sister Cherry (John) Semrad; grandchildren Kendra, Destiny, Cade, Seth, Adalee, Madilyn, Berkeley, Aiden, Trevor and Ayden: great-grandson James; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his father Curtis “Cork” Swahn; and nephew Jeffery Fittro.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will be Sunday 5-7 pm. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
