James S. Craft, 49, of Wahoo, NE left this earth much too soon on Aug. 1, 2025. James was born in Anderson County, S.C., and lived there for most of his life. He is proceeded in death by his Stepfather, Jimmy Maddox, his In-laws, Lewis & Betty Lyda and nephew, Zachary. James is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Angie, who will miss him more than words can say.
He is also survived by his Mother, Ruby Maddox, of Fountain Inn, SC; his brother David Craft (Tiffany) of Simpsonville; 2 Stepsons, Brandon of Robertsdale, AL and Ben (Megan) of Pelzer, SC; Step Siblings, Jamie Maddox (Shannon) & family and Dena (Tim) Russell & family as well as a Brother-in-law, Barry Lyda (Missy) & family.
He is also lovingly missed by his 3 “Bonus Grandkids”, Lee “Lee Bob”, Ella “Pearlie Sue” and Miles “My-My” Farmer. They were the absolute lights of his life, and he will forever have a loving and watchful eye on them. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He will be deeply missed by his “best girl” Dixie, Misty and Willow, his fur babies.
James was Co-Owner of “CommTech Global” of Elkhorn, NE, and also part owner of The Back Room in Wahoo, NE. He was an active member in the Wahoo Chapter as well as the Nebraska Ducks Unlimited Groups and Hilltop Country Club. He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan (“Go Tigers”), waterfowl hunter and golfer. His circle of friends was tight and loyal and he will be missed by them tremendously.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made in James’ memory to:
