James A Everson

James A. Everson, Jr. age 53 of Omaha, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Omaha. He was born in Omaha on June 26, 1960 to James Sr. and Joyce (Shaffar) Everson. Jim grew up in Omaha and graduated from Omaha North High School in 1979. He began working at Bishop's Cafeteria in Downtown Omaha when he was sixteen. When the restaurant closed, Jim went to work at Bemis Bag Company. He was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church in Omaha. Jim is survived by his parents James Sr. and Joyce Everson of Mead; brother and sister-in-law Randy (Barb) Everson of Winthrop MN; sister Candy Everson of Omaha; uncles and aunts Pauline Shaffar of Boonville MO, Wayne Shaffar of Omaha, Howard (Eileen) Everson Jr. of Hartselle AL, Rose Lengyel of Omaha; nephews and nieces Justin Tweedy of Omaha, Heather Tweedy of Omaha, Tiffany Theis, Wahoo. He was preceded in death by an infant brother and four uncles. Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 10th and Arbor Streets, Omaha.
