Iown J. Triplett

Iown J. Triplett, age 85 of Wahoo, died January 4, 2016 in Wahoo. She was born August 15, 1930 in Wahoo to Solon and Clara (Falke) Maynard. On December 28, 1951 she married Richard Triplett in Wahoo. She and Dick operated a cleaning service in Wahoo and Triplett Paint Store. She was active in girls youth softball and coached both girl's and women's teams. She served on the Parks and Recreation Board and enjoyed bowling and traveling to bowling tournaments. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Evelyn and Dave Jansa, Wahoo; grandsons Matt Jansa, Wahoo, Zach Jansa, Lake City IA. Iown was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Kenneth, Robert and Loren Maynard; twin brother Jerome Maynard; sister Beverly Maynard. Memorials may be made to SMC Long Term Care. No services are planned.
