Helen L Lehman

Helen Lucille Lehman was born April 8,1937 in Wahoo Nebraska. She was the only daughter of Ruth (Otto) and William Lehman and was raised on the family farm in Ithaca NE. For many years, she had been a client of Region V Services in Crete, NE. Helen loved to travel, spend time with friends, get her nails done, go out to eat, visit with family and play with her cat, Mittens. She was a life long Huskers fan! She was very proud of all the times she was able to compete in the Special Olympics and won many medals. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Orville and brother Leonard. Helen is survived by nieces Jane (Paul) Meyer in Loveland CO, Cathy (Tom) Zahalka in Powhaten VA, Sherry (Gary) Gibson in Racine WI and Patti (Dave) Anderson in Parker CO, two great-nieces, three great-nephews, nine great-great nieces and nephews, sister in law Violet Lehman of Loveland CO, and several cousins. Her family is grateful for all the loving care and support Helen received from Region V over the years. Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 29 at Zion Lutheran Church in Ithaca. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Region V Services in Crete NE, 1951 E. 13th Street, Crete, NE 68333.
