Harlan D. Warm

Harlan Warm, age 79 of Prague, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Fremont. He was born November 22, 1939 in Deshler, NE to Edwin and Alma (Tambke) Worm. He was baptized and confirmed at the Friedensau (now Trinity Lutheran) Church near Deshler. Harlan graduated from Deshler High School in 1958. On July 11, 1970, he married Pamela Frankforter at Zion Lutheran Church in Shickley. Harley farmed with his brother Duane near Shickley and, in 1971 took a job at the Farmer's Co-op in Wahoo where he worked for ten years and did custom farming in the Saunders County area. Ultimately, Harley farmed near Swedeburg and Weston where he raised hogs and cattle as well as crops. He was active in the Wahoo Saddle Club and 4-H. Harley competed in Team Penning and Antique Tractor Pull events. Harlan had a love for antique tractors and for dancing at the Plamor Ballroom every Sunday. He was a very social person who made friends easily. Harley also liked to drink his Pivo. He is survived by his children Steven Worm of Dunbar; Tammy (Dale) Larsen of Wahoo, Tad (Molly) Warm of Staplehurst, Tyson (Abby) Warm of Fremont, Lani (Ed) Pearson of Craig; sisters-in-law Rose Brettman of Deshler, Roma Bedlan of Shickley; brother-in-law Gene Bedlan of Shickley; grandchildren Amanda (Lance) Wolken, Nathan Worm, Jason (Tracy) Larsen, Jordan (Tiffany) Larsen, Jeremy (Casie) Larsen, Jamie Larsen, Jalynn (Lance) Vukonich, Abigayle Warm, Jacob Warm, Anna Warm, Noelle Warm, Ellery Warm, Madeline Pearson, Greta Pearson, Arthur Pearson; great-grandchildren Iris Wolken, Miley Larsen, Mia Larsen, Emiry Larsen, Chesney Larsen, Blakely Larsen, Bentley Larsen, and Berkley Larsen. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Alma; wife Pamela; and brother Duane Worm. Memorials may be made to the family for a later designation.
