Gary R. Olson

Gary R. Olson, age 72 of Omaha, formerly of Wahoo, died Sunday May 13, 2018 in Omaha. He was born March 23, 1946 in Wahoo to Quintin and Dorothy (Trutna) Olson and married Penny Lueth October 15, 1986 in Sioux Falls, SD. He is survived by his wife Penny of Omaha; sons Erich (Kim) of Liberty, MO, Chad, and Reid, both of Omaha; grandsons Jakob and Luke; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Dorothy Olson and Quintin Olson; and brother Craig Olson. Services will be at 11 am Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Swedeburg Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation at Mayo Clinic.
