Frances Eads, age 92, of Wahoo died June 8, 2014 in Wahoo. She was born February 20, 1922 at Nebraska City to Joe and Alice (Parmenter) Hartley. On April 4, 1941 she married Eli "Chic" Eads in Hiawatha, KS. Frances was a soft spoken woman who cherished her role as wife, mother and grandmother. She could always be found in the kitchen of her home making certain that there was plenty to eat for everyone. Her pies and potato salad were family favorites. Frances was known for her selfless attitude. Other people's needs always came before her own. She is survived by her children Jeannette (Curt) Borreson of Lincoln, Larry (Victoria) Eads of Omaha; grandchildren Mike (Judy) Borreson of Arkansas, Lynn Svoboda of Lincoln, Kerry (Jon) Tuttle of Omaha, Torey (June) Eads of Omaha, Amy (George) Rapp of Columbus, OH; great-grandchildren Amanda (Cole) Hime of Wahoo, Christopher Borreson of Lincoln, Reed, Sydney and Callie Svoboda all of Lincoln, Kyla, Kamryn and Jake Tuttle all of Omaha, Kylie, Jesse and Cole Eads of Omaha, Katie, Linus and Ian Rapp of Columbus, OH; great-great-grandchildren Dylan, Lillyan and Josephine Hime all of Wahoo. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Alice Hartley, husband Eli "Chic" Eads, brother Bill Hartley and sister Lois Cooper.
