Drew S. Staskiewicz "Cheeto"

Drew was born November 30, 1992 in Omaha, the son of Steve and Karen (Morgan) Staskiewicz. He was a Track and Field standout at Millard North High School. Drew holds the Nebraska Association USATF records for hammer throw in the Intermediate Boys and Young Men's age groups. He qualified for USA Junior Nationals in the hammer throw during the summer of 2010. He qualified for the Nebraska State Track & Field meet in both shot put and discus. Drew also won numerous summer track meets, as well as Nebraska Association and USATF Region VIII championships. He is survived by his parents Karen and Steve Staskiewicz of Omaha; brother Eric Staskiewicz of Omaha; aunts and uncles Chuck Morgan of Omaha, Dave and Gretta Staskiewicz of Omaha, Theresa Lyman of Lincoln, Vicki Brester (Jeff) of Dwight, NE; Debbie Staskiewicz of Fontana, CA; cousins Nate and Connor Staskiewicz of Omaha, Andy Lyman of Lincoln, Matt Lyman of Lincoln, Nicole King of Lincoln, Mikenzie Delgado of Waverly, Dalton Brester of Dwight, NE; grandparents Joe and Lucy Staskiewicz of Lincoln, Charles Morgan of Lincoln and Sharon Towle of Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, Drew's family requests memorials be made to the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program.
