Donald L. Headlee

Donald L. Headlee, age 80 of Yutan, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Omaha. He was born in Wayne, NE on October 3, 1940 to Arthur “Bob” and Marie (Brandstetter) Headlee. He married Sandra Nungesser on June 18, 1961. She died April 29, 2018. Don spent his life working as a math and science teacher and, then, as an electrician. Don is survived by his children Lora (Jerry) Markham of Weeping Water, Melanie (Isral) Amaro of Omaha, Ray Lee Headlee of Omaha; sister Georgette (Doug) Kelly of Des Moines, IA; brother Monte (Cathy) Headlee of Kearney; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter Lisa Jo Headlee. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Yutan. Interment will be at 1:00 pm Saturday at Pilger Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for later designations.
