Darren Michael Agee

Darren Michael Agee, age 59, of Wahoo, died Friday, September 18, 2026, in Wahoo. He was born August 17, 1967, in Kearney, Nebraska, to James and Cheryl (Coley) Agee.

As a child, Darren moved to the Beatrice State Developmental Center. He later made his home in Wahoo, where he lived with the support of Region V Services before moving to Saunders Medical Center Long Term Care in 2020.

Darren knew what he enjoyed. He was a loyal Nebraska football fan and loved listening to country music. He was happiest outdoors, feeling the breeze and the warmth of the sun on his face. He especially looked forward to visits from Joanie and her dog, Ottie, and valued the time he spent with Laura, his Life Enrichment coach. Their friendship and companionship brought welcome enjoyment to his days.

Darren will be remembered for the things that made him happy, the familiar people he enjoyed, and the moments of warmth and connection he shared with those around him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home from noon until 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Wahoo.
