Colleen A. Stuebinger

Colleen A. Stuebinger, age 77 of Ceresco, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Lincoln. She was born April 30, 1943 on a farm located between Schuyler and Howells to Frank and Jerusha (Jonas) Vrzak. Colleen attended country school until the 8th grade when she transferred to Schuyler to complete her education. Following graduation, she worked for a time in Columbus. On November 19, 1966, she was married to John E. Stuebinger in Columbus. For the next twelve years, Colleen stayed at home to raise her family. Out of her love of children, Colleen then began a 24-year career in Lincoln as a nanny for the Sutton family. Colleen was an avid gardener and raised both vegetables and beautiful flowers. Her family always held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her husband John of Ceresco; daughter Nancy Krueger of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren Koleton, Rachel, and Julia Krueger; step-son John (Gilda) Bodine of North Port, FL; brother Frank (Bernadette) Vrzak of Schuyler; nieces Jackie (Brant) Hamaker of Howells and Mary Jo Tye of Schuyler. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Nancy Vrzak.
