Brandon S. Bottorff, born on August 31, 1977, passed away on December 4, 2024, at Faith Regional Health Services, Norfolk, Nebraska after a brief illness. He was 47 years old. Brandon was a cherished son, brother, uncle and friend, known for his infectious sense of humor, quick wit, and deep compassion.
Brandon grew up in Wahoo, Nebraska, where he graduated from Wahoo Public Schools in 1996. He was a beloved member of his community, remembered fondly for his love of dining out, watching movies, spending time with extended family and engaging in long telephone conversations with the love of his life, April Kresha.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Rebecca (Larmore) Bottorff of Denton, TX, and his father, Ron Bottorff, along with his stepmother Shirley Eichmeier of Lincoln. Brandon also leaves behind his brother, Tylor Bottorff and sister-in-law, Brandi (Sabatka) Bottorff of Highlands Ranch, CO, as well as his stepbrother, Paul Eichmeier and his wife, Danielle of Lincoln, and stepsister, Jill Kaufman of Lincoln. He was a proud uncle to eight nieces and nephews and is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, 27 cousins and numerous members of a much-loved extended family.
Brandon's life was a testament to the power of laughter and kindness, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories of his vibrant spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 15th, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pruss-Nabity Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 16th at the Wahoo First United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Sunrise Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brandon Bottorff family (c/o Ron Bottorff, 1040 N 80th St., Lincoln, NE 68505) for distribution to charities of the family's choice that support services to persons with disabilities or made by the donor directly to a charity of the donor's choice in Brandon's name.
Brandon's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time.
