Alvin M. Wilson, age 82 of Wahoo died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Wahoo. He was born May 10, 1931 in Omaha to Fred and Mabel (Eggers) Wilson. Alvin worked as an accountant for the Union Pacific Railroad for many years. He was an avid trap shooter and golfer, and was the current member of the Yutan American Legion Post #262 with the longest held membership. Al is survived by his children Mary (Lester Breidenstine) Wilson of Beaver Crossing, NE, Gene (Jeanne) Wilson of Wahoo, Chris (Becky) Wilson of Chicago, IL; grandchildren Amy (Mark) Starnes of Grand Junction, CO, Erin Wilson of Blomkrest, MN; great-grandchildren Alaina "Little Al" Starnes and Luke Starnes; twin sister Alvina (Ken) Mumm of Wahoo; many siblings in California; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives Carol Ann Brengleman and Patricia Wilson; parents Fred and Mabel; and brother Ron Wilson. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family for a later designation.
