Wade Leming

Wade Leming, age 53 of Elmwood passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 with his family at his side after his brief journey with ALS. He was born August 28, 1971 in Lincoln to John and Clinola (Westlake) Leming.


He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wendy Leming; daughter and son-in-law Chasmine and Matthew Hendrix and their children Kane, Ella, and Esli; son and daughter-in-law Braxten and Lexi Leming and soon to be baby Leming; parents John and Clinola Leming; father-in-law Jim Wilkinson; and extended family. Wade was preceded in death by his grandparents Clinton and Olive Westlake and William and Ruth Leming; uncle Lee Westlake; and mother-in-law Kathy Wilkinson.


A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Friday, February 14, at Christ Place Church, 1111 Old Cheney Road in Lincoln with a luncheon to follow. Inurnment will be at Eagle Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 5-9 pm Thursday evening with the family present 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wade’s Day an ALS foundation for kids who have parents affected by this disease.
