Life Legacy
Justin Jonas, age 21 of Wahoo, died Friday February 12, 2010 in Wahoo.
He was born December 27, 1988 in Lincoln to Steven and Amy (Luedtke) Jonas. Justin grew up in Wahoo and graduated from Boys Town High School. He loved nature and the outdoors. Hunting, camping and dirt biking in the sandhills of Western Nebraska were favorite activities. Justin was passionate about music and enjoyed listening to music from all genres. He could spend hours reading and especially enjoyed fantasy novels. His love of nature led him to pursue a dream of becoming a wildlife firefighter. Justin also had an interest in archaeology and enjoyed the scenery and topography of Pine Ridge near Chadron. His friends meant the world to him. Justin was a whiz at video games, an interest he shared with his sisters.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Paula Luedtke and Marcella and George Jonas.
Justin is survived by his parents Steve Jonas of Wahoo, and Amy and Matt Bolling of Lincoln; sisters Victoria Jonas of Ashland and Ashley Bolling of Lincoln; grandparents John Luedtke of Wahoo, Charlie and Janette Allemang of Clearwater, NE, Steve Bolling of Tilden, NE; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
