Most funeral homes simply drop off human remains at the crematory where they are placed among human remains from other funeral homes waiting to be cremated. A day or two later, they pick up the ashes or have the crematory drop them off at the funeral home in order to save themselves some effort. As a result, the funeral home cannot guarantee, unquestionably, that the ashes belong to the person they left unsupervised at the crematory.
Our solution is to never allow your loved one to leave our direct control.
Beginning at our funeral home where you make a positive identification and place your loved one into our care, we maintain uninterrupted personal supervision of their remains. We coordinate our arrival time with the crematory and require our presence when the human remains are placed into the cremation chamber. We remain nearby during the cremation, and we are present when the cremated remains are removed from the cremation chamber, processed, and transferred into a temporary container labeled with your loved one's name. At every step , we are able to verify the identity of the remains. The cremated remains continue under our direct care until they are interred or returned to you.
